Fall Semester 2011: Number #3 in grades
Rho Chapter finished the Fall 2011 semester number three on campus with a 3.3410 grade point average.

Greetings from Champaign.  The members of the house have just returned from Thanksgiving break and have a week and a half of classes before taking their final exams and returning back to the suburbs for Winter Break... 

New Front Stairs!
In October 2011, we replaced the carpet on the front stairs with an industrial strength flooring...

Early fall update from the Chapter
Greetings from Champaign.  Well, it’s the start to another great year down in at the Sammy house.  We have 52 actives currently living in the house with 20 new freshmen to add to our prestigious tradition of excellence on the Illinois campus....

Convention recognition
In August 2011, three active members of the house attended Sigma Alpha Mu's national convention in Phoenix, AZ. The chapter was honored through a number of awards and designations...

Over the summer, the chapter room was rehabbed and renovated. This included new walls, a new floor, new lighting, new trophy case, a full surround sound system as well as updated and organized paddles for all classes...

For the 13th time in 18 semesters, Rho Chapter finished the Spring 2011 semester number one on campus with a 3.4387 grade point average.  The Interfraternity Council GPA average was 3.0811.

My name is Matthew Kornblatt and I I graduated from Rho/Illinois last May (2010) and I am currently trying to start a business.  It will be an online marketplace for personal trainers throughout the Chicago-land area to be matched up with clients based on preference.  Currently in the market research stage, I have been surveying trainers along with "clients"....

Early Spring Semester Update
All is well down here in Champaign, as Rho chapter has gotten off to an action-packed start to second semester.  In late January we held our annual Pledge Dance with the theme of “Rhodeo.”  The freshmen did a phenomenal job in planning the event and surprised the house by bringing in a mechanical bull to provide some extra entertainment for the party...
